Wulai Yun Hsien Resort, New Taipei City Wulai is located approximately 27 kilometers southeast of Taipei City and is the only mountain township in Taipei County. The entire area is lush with trees, clear streams, and surrounded by mountains. The source of the renowned Wulai Waterfall is a scenic landscape of lakes and mountains, ancient towering trees, misty clouds in the forest, colorful butterflies, cicada chirps, and birdsong, resembling a paradise. However, this beautiful scenery was obstructed by the cliffs of the Nanshi River, preventing tourists from fully appreciating it. Thus, the construction of an aerial cable car was planned to fully present the original natural landscape to the public. Due to the natural beauty and the different beauties of the changing seasons, like a fairyland, it was named "Yun Hsien Resort." Yun Hsien Hotel is located on the shore of Yun Hsien Lake and features antique architecture. The Chlorophyll Cafe on the first floor is a place for leisure with tea and coffee. The second floor offers Chinese cuisine. The third, fourth, and fifth floors are the guest room area. About a three-minute walk from the hotel, there is also the Yinglin Villa with scenic views from the windows.
