This policy explains what information Roampicks ("we", "us") collects when you visit roampicks.com and how we use it.
Information we collect
Roampicks is a static website with no user accounts, comment forms, or tracking pixels. We do not directly collect personal data. However, the following services may collect information automatically:
- Cloudflare (our hosting provider) collects standard web-server logs including IP addresses and browser information for security and performance purposes. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Klook (our affiliate partner) has its own privacy policy that applies when you click through to Klook and complete a booking. See Klook's Privacy Policy.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors
use Roampicks — pages viewed, session duration, and general traffic patterns. GA4 sets
cookies (including _ga and _ga_*) to distinguish visitors and
sessions. Data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with
Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out by installing the
Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies and browser storage
Cloudflare (our hosting provider) may set a security cookie (__cf_bm)
for bot protection. Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_*
cookies for traffic measurement (see Analytics section above). We do not use advertising
cookies or cross-site tracking beyond these.
The search feature stores your recent search queries in your browser's
localStorage under the key rp_history (up to 5 entries).
This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers. Clear it any time via
your browser's site data settings.
Third-party links
This site contains links to Klook and other external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. When you click through to Klook, Klook's own privacy policy and cookie practices apply.
Your rights
For data collected by Google Analytics, you may exercise rights under applicable law by contacting Google or using the opt-out link above. For data held by Cloudflare or Klook, refer to their respective privacy policies. For any other questions, contact us at hello@roampicks.com.
